Barbara has completed the following education:
GCA Graduate Certified Appraiser
MCA Master Certified Appraiser
GGAC Graduate Gemology Appraiser Certificate
USPAP Current Certification
DD Divinity Doctorate
While attending classes and after graduation she worked with Dr. David Long, Owner and President of the College for Appraisers, as his Administrative Assistant. During this time Dr. David Long mentored her in the history of antiques and collectibles, professional appraisal business practices and appraisal theory.
Barbara realized early on that since so many of her clients were going through major life changes, a great deal of her work involved counseling in one form or another. In order to better provide for them, she worked towards a Doctorate in Divinity with emphasis in Spiritual Counseling.
